First Lady Donates Books to Bobby Ray Memorial Elementary

Tuesday, January 25 – First Lady Andrea Conte showed her appreciation for Bobby Ray Memorial Elementary by presenting the school with 700 books on behalf of the “Scholastic Read for 2005” program. She became familiar with the school after students contributed to “AndreaWalks” in order to help support Child Advocacy Centers across Tennessee. Conte returned to the school as an Ambassador of Reading, advocating the importance of an early love of learning.
