Monday, October 18, 2004 – Clifton – (Pictured left to right: South Central Correctional Center Warden Kevin Myers, First Lady Conte) First Lady of Tennessee Andrea Conte accepts a handmade birdhouse bearing the logo of “Andrea Walks for Tennessee’s Children,” the 600-mile journey Conte is making across the state to raise awareness of child abuse and to raise funds for Child Advocacy Centers. Warden Kevin Myers of the South Central Correctional Center presented the gift on behalf of inmates there, who held an on-site walk in honor of the “AndreaWalks” campaign.

Monday, October 18, 2004 – Clifton – (Pictured left to right: South Central Correctional Center Warden Kevin Myers, First Lady Andrea Conte, Associate Warden Ty Tanner) First Lady Andrea Conte accepts a $1,550 check written “For the Kids.” The donation was presented by Warden Kevin Myers and Associate Warden Ty Tanner on behalf of inmates at the South Central Correctional Center who held their own on-site walk in honor of “AndreaWalks.” The money will help Conte meet her goal of raising $1 million for Child Advocacy Centers, organizations that help children who have experienced sexual or severe physical abuse.
